Nòna rita e il suo Manager

L'avevamo già presentata, Nòna Rita, in occasione del "lancio" del primo CD della "companìa dij Musicant d'Alba", nel 2006. Lei era ultranovantenne, ed intervenne nell canzone "quand ch'i era Giovo", registrata "laiv" nella notra Osteria Agricola. LA canzone é poi finitsa a far parte della colonna sonora di un bellissimo film di cui vi indico il trailer "http://youtu.be/2PWP-YzRsjA" , e la potete ascoltare al 3:30 minuti del suddetto video.

Quest'inverno, per il suo ultra 96esimo  compleanno, ho deciso di invitarla a incidere alcune canzoni  che mi aveva già insegnato negli inverni passati, quando veniva come ospite a Casa Scaparone (come una star), per delle "sessions" musicali e culturali.

Ci siamo incontrati con il suo Manager NINO MONTERSINO, e abbiamo compiuto la registrazione. Grazie Nino, grazie Rita, grazie Giusy (la sua cara figlia).

Letter to our kind guests

Good day to everyone,

Casa Scaparone will be open again to guests from 29 March 2012.

Winter was very hard but we got through it. The vineyards have been pruned and tied, the vegetable plot is ready for seeding, the greenhouses have withstood assault by the cold weather and the wheat, after sleeping under the snow, is bright green and full of life.

As in other years, we have spent the last few weeks tidying up, re-painting and changing our home so that once again this year it will be a pleasurable place... especially for us!

A number of important innovations involve the new employees joining the team this year and several pregnancies that will increase the population of our home.
And above all, the long-awaited 2012 has come around. The year of change, the year of the New World, the year when Casa Scaparone hopes to serve lunch and dinner with food from organic agriculture.
After our “trials” in previous years, this year we will attempt to take supplies of materials from organic agriculture that, alongside our own flours, wines, fruit, vegetables and conserves, will become almost all the ingredients we use! We certainly to achieve this, with the Faith that we all have in the Change that our fine Western society can attain, with everyone's help, including our kind guests.

This year is also the TENTH ANNIVERSARY (incredible!) of our opening and we are consequently already planning small (of course!) celebrations this Summer, perhaps together with our Balacaval friends at the end of June or July. We may be able to organise a mini-festival of traditional music, with dancing and a little theatre; we are doing our best! Keep up with our and we shall soon be able to define the time and place for celebrations.

As for everything else, we won't complain about work or even the increases in taxation; we can say that we have a secret trust that once again the inhabitants of this peninsula known since time immemorial as Italy, despite all the immense differences characterising it, will manage to pull through in the best possible way and break out of this impasse with a better civic and social awareness and human responsibility as regards the Earth and the Universe.
Since we are in Alba, all of us working in this fortunate part of Piedmont really have little to complain about: sun, earth, water, greenery, history, architecture, work, peace and so many tourists all around us every day! What else could we want?

I wish you all a peaceful 2012 and a year of true, voluntary and sincere Change: the New World is waiting for us and it is up to us to be a part of it or not. Let's think in a New way, let's live in a New way!

WIEDERERÖFFNUNG am 29. MÄRZ 2012 (endlich)

Brief an die lieben Gäste

Guten Tag an alle,

ab 29. März 2012 wird Casa Scaparone wieder seine Pforten für die Gäste öffnen.

Der Winter war hart, aber wir haben es geschafft: Die Weinreben wurden beschnitten und angebunden, die Gemüsegärten wurden für die Aussaat vorbereitet, die Gewächshäuser haben der Kälte widerstanden, und der Weizen, der unter dem Schnee geruht hat, ist von satt grüner Farbe und voller Leben.

Wie in den vergangenen Jahren haben wir die letzten Wochen damit verbracht, unser Haus zu ordnen und zu streichen, damit es auch in diesem Jahr Gefallen finden kann... besonders bei uns selbst!

Ein paar wichtige Neuerungen stammen von den neuen Mitarbeitern, die in diesem Jahr zur Mannschaft gestoßen sind, und von einigen glücklichen Geburten, die zur Erweiterung der Bewohnerschaft dieses Hauses beigetragen haben.
Derweil ist das lang ersehnte Jahr 2012 angebrochen, das Jahr der Neuen Welt, in dem Casa Scaparone sich bemüht, jedes Mittag- und jedes Abendessen mit Lebensmitteln aus biologischem Anbau zuzubereiten.
Nach den „Probeläufen” der letzten Jahre versuchen wir heuer, uns mit Produkten aus biologischem Anbau zu versorgen, die zusammen mit unseren Mehlen, Weinen und Konserven sowie unserem Obst und Gemüse fast die Gesamtheit aller Zutaten ausmachen! Wir können das schaffen, mit dem Vertrauen, das wir alle in die Veränderung setzen, die unsere schöne westliche Welt mit der Hilfe aller, auch unserer lieben Gäste, herbeiführen kann.

Außerdem feiern wir 2012 das ZEHNJÄHRIGE Jubiläum (unglaublich!) unserer Eröffnung, weshalb wir bereits ein kleines Fest für diesen Sommer planen, wahrscheinlich gemeinsam mit den Freunden der Balacaval Ende Juni oder im Monat Juli. Vielleicht schaffen wir es, ein Mini-Festival mit traditioneller Musik, Tanz und Theater auf die Beine zu stellen; wir arbeiten daran. Verfolgen Sie die News, und schon bald können wir Ihnen Genaueres zu Datum und Ort der Feier bekannt geben.

Ansonsten ist alles in Ordnung, wir beschweren uns weder über die Arbeit, noch über die Steuererhöhungen. Wir können behaupten, ein heimliches Vertrauen zu nähren, dass auch dieses Mal die Bewohner dieser Halbinsel namens Italien - trotz der großen Unterschiede, die uns kennzeichnen - sich so gut wie möglich zu helfen wissen und den Weg aus diesem Engpass mit mehr persönlichem und sozialem Verantwortungsbewusstsein gegenüber unserem Planeten und dem Universum finden werden.
Wir, die wir das Glück haben, in Alba, dieser herrlichen Region des Piemont zu arbeiten, haben in der Tat nicht das Recht, uns zu beschweren: Jeden Tag sind wir von Sonne, Land, Wasser, Grün, Geschichte, Architektur, Arbeit, Frieden und vielen Touristen umgeben! Was wollen wir mehr?

Ich wünsche Ihnen allen ein unbeschwertes 2012 und ein Jahr der echten, gewollten und ehrlichen Veränderung: Die Neue Welt erwartet uns. Es liegt nur bei uns, ob wir dazugehören werden oder nicht. Neues Denken, neues Leben!

Lettera ai gentili ospiti

Buongiorno a tutti,

dal 29 marzo 2012 Casa Scaparone sarà di nuovo aperta agli ospiti.

L’inverno è stato duro, però ce l’abbiamo fatta: i vigneti sono potati e legati, gli orti pronti
alla semina, le serre hanno resistito agli assalti del freddo e il grano, che ha dormito sotto
la neve, è verdissimo e pieno di Vita.

Come per gli altri anni, abbiamo passato le ultime settimane a riordinare, ridipingere, e
cambiare la nostra casa, in modo che anche quest’anno possa piacere... a noi, soprattutto!

Alcune grosse novità arrivano dai nuovi collaboratori che quest’anno faranno parte della
squadra e da alcune liete gravidanze che andranno a aumentare la popolazione della
nostra Casa.
È sopraggiunta intanto la tanto attesa data del 2012, l’anno del cambiamento, l’anno del
Nuovo Mondo, nella quale Casa Scaparone si impegna a servire ogni suo pranzo e sua
cena con alimenti provenienti da agricoltura biologica.
Dopo le “prove” degli anni precedenti, tenteremo quest’anno di rifornirci di materie prime
da agricoltura biologica, che aggiungendosi alle nostre farine, vini, frutta, verdura,
conserve faranno la quasi totalità degli ingredienti! Ce la potremo fare, con la Fede che
abbiamo tutti quanti nel Cambiamento che la nostra bella società occidentale può fare, e
con l’aiuto di tutti, compresi i nostri cari ospiti.

Ricorre inoltre quest’anno il DECENNALE (incredibile!) della nostra apertura, per cui
stiamo già studiando una piccola (giammai!) festa quest’estate, magari in collegamento
con gli amici del Balacaval, a fine giugno oppure a luglio. Riusciremo magari ad
organizzare un mini-festival di musica tradizionale, con balli e teatrini; ci stiamo provando.
Seguite le news e presto potremo parlare di date e luoghi della festa.

Per il resto tutto bene, non ci lamentiamo né del lavoro, né dell’aumento delle tasse;
possiamo dire di nutrire una segreta fiducia che anche questa volta gli abitanti di questa
penisola che da tempi immemorabili si chiama Italia, pur nelle grandi diversità che li
caratterizzano, sapranno cavarsela al meglio e uscire da questa impasse con più
coscienza civica, sociale e responsabilità umane nei confronti della Terra e dell’Universo.
Essendo ad Alba, noi tutti che lavoriamo in questa fortunata regione del Piemonte, in
effetti, non abbiamo neanche il diritto di lamentarci: sole, terra, acqua, verde, storia,
architettura, lavoro, pace e tanti turisti ci circondano ogni giorno! Che cosa volere di più?

Auguro a tutti un sereno 2012, e un anno del Cambiamento vero, volontario e sincero: il
Nuovo Mondo ci attende, e dipende solo da noi il farne parte o meno. Pensiamo in modo
Nuovo, viviamo in modo Nuovo!
